More than twenty years experience in event management, working on
a range of events from planning weddings and festivals, to corporate
and government events. We strive to provide local and international
markets with quality events, that are representative of the diverse
cultures of Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Our Cultural
Exchange Program promotes collaborations between artists of different
countries
Infrastructure and organisational skills, combined with dedication
to promote local artists, GCO aims to provide both the local and
international markets with talent that is representative of their
professional and emerging artists.

and introduced New Zealand to the first "Cape Minstrel"
performance at the annual "Taste of Africa" day

managers of the New Zealand band "ARDIJAH TO AFRICA"
tour in 2004 to the "Standard Bank Jazzathon" in Cape
Town

of the annual "Taste of Africa" street festival, in
Picton Street, Howick. 2005 was the 5th anniversary of the event
- Facilitated
and organised sound, lighting, staging, and various performing
artists for the opening of the Botany Town Centre in Botany Downs,
Manukau, Auckland
- Produced
many social and corporate events in New Zealand
- Our
track record in South Africa covers events produced for government
departments, to the business and social markets.
Our most memorable event was to organise the catering for then
Presidents Nelson Mandela, and Bill Clinton on Robben Island,
with the American President's visit to the Island with Nelson
Mandela.
- GCO
has a cultural exchange program , between Australia, New Zealand
and South Africa. His Excellency, Anthony Mongalo, South African
High Commissioner and Sir Barry Curtis, Mayor of Manukau City,
Auckland, New Zealand are patrons of the Cultural Exchange Program
- GCO
was endorsed by the South African High Commissioner, Anthony Mongalo,
to organise events to celebrate the 10th year of democracy in
South Africa, in New Zealand
- We
produced an event titled "OUT OF AFRICA" at Lloyd Elsmore
Park in Pakuranga, for November 2004.
- More
than 50 000 people attended the one day event
- GCO
had a radio show in New Zealand on Planet FM 104.6 on a Friday
night. Graham produced the show, which primarily was geared at
the South African market, but with music that appealed to many
other nationalities as well. This show was funded by GCO Agencies,
and later partly sponsored by SAA. The show was on Friday nights
at 11.45pm on 104.6fm
Our
success in securing funding from Te Waka Toi, from Creative New
Zealand, in partnership with New Zealand Band Ardijah, was the beginning
of many such cultural tours we plan to expand on.
